Company Background
The company originated from two projects for hospitality clients who wanted to add lodges to their businesses to increase revenue.
After exploring various ‘off-the-shelf’ options, both clients chose our custom designs, which later became the Retreat range. We also provided technical development assistance for two additional companies but believed we could produce a superior product ourselves, which lead to the creation of Vista Lodges.

A Worthwhile Investment
While you may find many cheaper alternatives, it’s essential to compare like-for-like. Many lower cost options are BS3632 lodges, not permanent buildings, and are constructed with much thinner walls, floors, and roof panels, leading to obvious drawbacks.
Habitar lodges are effectively bespoke constructions, so a direct comparison would be akin to comparing a mass-produced car with a hand-built luxury brand. Customisable and Bespoke Designs
We offer a standard range of units designed to suit most sites, with materials and finishes that can be tailored to meet local site conditions, planning requirements, tastes, and budgets.
All our designs are flexible and can be modified as needed but for those seeking something unique, we can also provide bespoke lodges. We are also able to design and build all ancillary buildings such as clubhouses with receptions, cafes, bars, gyms, spas, and more. These would generally be designed to complement the lodges you choose, creating a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing environment.
The lodges can also be built to function as dwellings and we would be happy to look at schemes for single or multiple units for both private homeowners and commercial developers. Both the Verde and Vantage can easily be adapted as a two-storey dwelling or we can design something unique fro suit your brief.

Sustainable & Efficient Construction
Our lodges, constructed using high quality, engineered timber frames promote a natural, sustainable, and healthy building environment.
The engineered timber frames are pre-cut in the factory and shipped in flat sections to the site, ensuring precise, virtually waste-free construction and high build standards. Additionally, the unassembled kits allow for transportation by smaller vehicles, enabling access to restricted sites.
